Naturally you cannot take pictures of one kid and not have the other one try to get in on the attention. I was taking this picture to give my sister an idea of what to make as far as a scripture cover and Morgan wanted his time in the spotlight shirtless or not.

Kaitlyn's Scriptures

Kaitlyn's birthday is next month and because it is her 8th birthday. I thought it would be fun to get her a nice set of scripture with her name on them. When we got them home after having them engraved, my husband realized that my idea did not match what he thought I was going to buy (think seminary scriptures) So we are still debating in our house if we save them for later or let an 8 year old have them with the understanding that she takes real good care of them. She loves them. I let her pick out the color and everything.

So we worked on the dreaded family Christmas Photo. And the kids turned out pretty cute. I don't know who those two old people are in the picture next to our cute kids. But this year the picture was not as painful as I thought it would be. Maybe next year we will try to get a photo scheduled so we are not doing it last minute.
